Columbus Ohio March 31 CP An application for a writ of mandamus to compel Lorain County Treasurer to accept and retire 325000 in anticipatory notes held by Stranahan Harris Company Inc Toledo brokers was denied by the Ohio Supreme Court The notes issued for the Lorain County Tuberculosis Hospital construction were to mature April 4 and retire from bonds proceeds The court found no substantial merit in the relator’s claims and denied the writ while dismissing the case The notes were bought Feb 18 1970 and funds from bonds were claimed in Lorain County banks The decision held no duty violation by the treasurer and no abuse of discretion.

1200 Men Return to Railroad Shops in Cleveland
