Seven hundred Lorain County high school musicians will perform at Clearview High School auditorium on Saturday April 18 for the first Lorain County High School Music Contest. Forty one organizations with 170 members will mix in morning and afternoon sessions with cups and banners awarded for top places. Three judges will choose winners. Evening hand contest follows. The event marks the county's first such test of musical competition.
