Ohio Supreme Court ruling may curb EPA water limits
A Ohio high court ruling may force the Ohio EPA to apply state rulemaking with public notice hearings and comment prior to setting pollution limits on waterways. The decision questioned limits at a central Ohio wastewater plant discharging to Blacklick Creek near Pickerington. Justice O Donnell warned it could invalidate about 1800 existing limits and delay protections for state waters.
