Avon Lake teens die in three-vehicle Lorain bridge crash
Three 17 year old Avon Lake youths died and 10 others were injured in a three car crash on Lorain High Level Bridge. Witnesses said the Avon Lake car traveled at high speed crossing center line and struck a southbound vehicle. Names of the dead and injured withheld pending family notification.

Carrams truck crash leaves man dead near Durkee Road
A Grafton man, Robert L. Harris, 68, died Saturday after his car crossed the center line on Route 82 near Durkee Road and hit a westbound Mack truck driven by Kenneth Mills. Harris died at Elyria Memorial Hospital at 12:22 pm. Coroner William Kishman will determine if a coronary caused the crash.

Elyria police say James C. Thurman Jr. fled a traffic stop at Oberlin Road and Homesite Court, reaching 85 mph on wet roads. Bosak to remain in psychiatric care after insanity finding
