OPEC raises crude price by nine percent to 14.54

In Geneva the OPEC oil ministers approve a 9.05 percent base price rise to 14.54 per barrel starting next Sunday. The action, with possible surcharges up to $4, could lift U S gasoline by as much as eight cents per gallon if all members apply maximum fees.
