Westgate Shopping Center Opens With Many Stores Close
Center Ridge Road’s Westgate Shopping Center near Rocky River and Fairview Village fills with stores. S. S. Kresge suffered fire damage delaying openings. Halle’s Westgate and Stouffer’s anchor the corridor while some shops near completion. Parking is plentiful and covered walkways link shops under a forming canopy. Outdoor landscaping proceeds as lighting for night shoppers activates.
