Russell A Neal 20 of Newcomerstown Ohio and Glen Watson 18 were sentenced to life imprisonment after pleading guilty to the holdup slaying of a Los Angeles liquor store proprietor. Superior Judge David Colleman imposed the sentences as the widowed proprietor Frances Golechen of Elyria watched. The pair, AWOL from an East Coast port, stole two .41 caliber revolvers and fled to California following the November 3 robbery and killing at a tasquor shop.
