It notes keeping water out is nearly impossible, but risks lessen by not removing the filter cap in cold, brushing snow, and avoiding the open air pump. It discusses filters claiming absolute protection only from chamois skin, and notes some filters between tank and carburetor don not protect the vacuum tank.

Record of Ford price cuts and six year gains

A Ford division review shows two key items: car design remains solid while many refinements exist, and eight price reductions have occurred for closed cars with open car prices rising. From 1920 to 1926, a two passenger runabout cost $30 more then than now, and a five passenger Tudor Sedan cost more previously. Overall, passenger car prices fell by over 40 percent while quality improved. The report is attributed to KH T Strong, General Sales Manager of the Buick Motor Company, noting widespread favorable business conditions across states and sectors, including lumber, agriculture, citrus, and manufacturing.
