Resurrection stirs surprise in Easter five-act finale

A staged passion retelling the Easter story blends Scripture dialogue with non canonical lines. Act V unfolds on Nisan 16 30 A.D. with women tending spices at the tomb and the risen Jesus appearing to Mary Magdalene and the apostles. The drama traces disbelief, recognitions, and final commission as Jesus dispenses teaching and reassurance. The sequence covers tomb, encounters in the upper room, Emmaus, Thomas, and the final mountaintop commission to spread the gospel.
