In Memoriam Dot Demuth A Lorain County Recluse
Dorothy Dot Demuth and her cousin Charley Bacon lived in an old Mill Hollow house in Lorain County. After long lives apart they shared the farm and left property to Oberlin College and the county for a park, creating Mill Hollow Park. Dot, gentle and frugal, loved animals and books, refused meat, and died at ninety four after shaping a lasting tribute to reverence for life.
