CIA officer claims documents show U.S. staged events for Vietnam
Former CIA specialist Philip Liechty says he found 1963 to 1965 records describing incidents that appeared to be orchestrated to justify U.S. involvement in Vietnam. He told UPI in Bethesda that the documents were not rough drafts but a distilled collection of pages.
