Abbe Road crash injures Oberlin man
An Oberlin man suffers injuries including a fractured left leg when his car leaves Abbe Road, slides through a drainage ditch about 85 feet, and hits a utility pole, snapping it in two. Police report indicate southbound vehicle struck the pole after leaving roadway.

About 150 inmates at Walpole State Prison burned the library and smashed windows and furniture after a black inmate was stabbed.
