Assault Charge Results In $100 Fine
Justice C C Lord presiding in police court fined Robert E Singleton of 356 East Bridge street $100 and costs on a charge of assault and battery. The arrest followed a complaint by foreman Al Gregorzik at the Brown Fintube plant after Singleton allegedly struck him and drew a knife. Gregorzik sustained a cut near the left eye treated at Elyria Memorial Hospital. Singleton was later arrested in a nearby restaurant where his wife works, after leaving the plant.

Woman Escapes Serious Injuries After Car Collision
Mrs. Nancy Hegerman aged 68 received minor injuries to her right leg and left elbow when struck by a car driven by Marice C.
