Deaf Ministry at Elyria Baptist Brings Sign Language to Church
Mrs. Dennis teaches sign language at Elyria Baptist Church to help the deaf participate in services. She learned sign after noticing deaf attendees who could not sing or follow along. The ministry began with classes at the Cathedral of Tomorrow and now offers ongoing worship and sign language classes, plus interpreter work at a hospital and work with deaf students at Lorain High School.
