Taylor Installed As Member Of School Board
Rufus G. Taylor became an appointee to the Elyria Board of Education to finish the term of Dr. Charles E. Girth. His term ends this year. Fatal Collision On Route 113 Sparks Local Plea To Governor
LeRoy McNally 67 of Norwalk died and Williamston Michigan trucker William H. Collier 29 was seriously injured in a two vehicle crash at the foot of Howe’s Hill on Route 113 near Birmingham. Residents urged the governor to remedy highway hazards citing no warning signs a jog in the road and a narrow bridge. McNally’s body was taken to Emerich Funeral Home Amherst and he is survived by his widow and a daughter.
