Killer Tibbetts sought clemency after brutal murders
Attorneys for Ray Tibbetts cited extreme abuse in his youth and foster care, arguing for clemency. Prosecutors said abuse does not excuse killing Crawford and Hicks, noting Tibbetts’s claim he does not deserve clemency. His execution was delayed by a challenge to Ohio's three drug method.
