NASA delays Discovery launch over hydrogen leak at Cape Canaveral
NASA postponed the space shuttle Discovery launch hours before liftoff due to a hydrogen gas leak in a critical system. Managers set a new target for Monday with a possible Sunday attempt, shortening the two week mission and trimming space walks to ensure a rendezvous before a March 26 Russian Soyuz launch. Commander Mike Fincke welcomed a sooner mission but warned the shuttle may slip to April if not flying by Monday.
