Ridgeville Man Killed When Car Is Hit By Truck
A Ridgeville man, Jay Samuel Endicott, 68, died at 9 35 a m when his Cros ley car was struck by a Nor walk Truck Line outfit on Center Ridge road about 6 14 miles east of Elyria. His wife Dorothy 34 and their nine month old son Jay Jr escaped serious injury. The truck driven by Albert Fike of Ashland swerved to avoid the collision and crashed into a barn owned by Edward Snyder. Endicott’s body was taken to Sudro Curtis Funeral Home. Deputy Sheriff George Kosco investigated.

Bond Issue For Korea Veterans Bonus Considered in Ohio House
A resolution in the Ohio House proposes a $150 million bond to fund a Korea veterans bonus up to 400 dollars per recipient.
