Youth shot in chest in Elyria incident ends in hospital
A 19 year old Elyria resident Ivor Kimble of 220 Sec ond St was accidentally shot in the chest Friday afternoon and is in serious condition after surgery to remove a 22 caliber bullet at Elyria Memorial Hospital. Kenneth Golianek, 23, of 47 Hawthorne St has been charged with negligent assault in connection with the mishap.

Mike Moore of 114 South Center LaGrange warns that his new Jeep, loaned to a friend, provoked two late Friday crashes in LaGrange. Ronnie White of 461 Stallion Court allegedly wrecked the Jeep first on West River Road, then again near 215 West River Road after midnight while driving northbound and claiming sleepiness. A police cruiser was damaged en route to the scene. The Jeep had under 400 miles on the odometer.
