In Oberlin on March 11 a large crowd attended the funeral of Prof W Chamberlin at the last Congregational church. The casket lay in state from 2 to 2:30 as mourners viewed the remains. Music included Heard the Voice of Jesus Say performed by Oak Park professor Chamberlain, Sydney E Strong, and Prof Harpst, all connected with Oberlin and Chicago institutions.
