Envirotest Systems Inc operates 31 E-check facilities including Elyria and Amherst sites. County records show about 64,997 in overdue real estate taxes dating to 1995 with Elyria Schools to receive about 19,450 and Amherst Schools about 26,050. County says no tax exemption exists per Greg White. Ed Zoldak filed a state exemption request after learning no exemptions were on file.
