North Ridgeville sewer delays stall major developments
In North Ridgeville the early 1970s boom of industrial and commercial projects stalled due to sewer shortages. Developers blame city officials for slow sewer planning, with estimates placing construction costs around 1 million dollars. Projects include Southgate Development, a 66 acre industrial park on Cook Road, a 35 acre commercial site on Center Ridge Road, and a 14 to 20 million hotel convention center plan, all awaiting sewer lines or financing.
