Lorain GI killed in Vietnam helicopter attack
Spec. Brian Murray, 21, of Lorain Ohio, died when the helicopter he was gunner on was hit by mortar fire on takeoff near Phong Vinh. Murray, a 1965 St Mary High School graduate and former electrician, volunteered for Vietnam duty in 1967 and was to be discharged Feb 22 but delayed by a dog bite.
