Candidates for the Lorain County primary have until 6 50 P M March 11 to file petitions at the board of elections. About 30 petitions have been filed for county offices including recorder prosecutor treasurer clerk of courts sheriff probate court surveyor and two county commissioner seats. The filing period is expected to attract many more entrants and the May 10 primary is anticipated to be highly competitive in both parties.
