Chapter Three Continued and Interludes in Lorain
The scene threads a social mood as Suwanee Collier and Suwanee’s companion Elanda explore a bustling city street scene with a glamorous woman stepping from a limousine and a restaurant serenade plan unfolding. The dialogue hints at romance and ambition, while a village column of society notices and local events follows, detailing meetings, birthdays, weddings, and community notices across Lorain and nearby towns.
