Skip Jackson leads Amherst youth sports complex project
Skip Jackson a longtime Amherst youth sports volunteer and leader of multiple athletic organizations spearheaded the Amherst St Joe s Sports Complex project. Groundbreaking occurred October 1983 with volunteers and designers, and the facility nears completion featuring four baseball softball fields a soccer football field a concession stand restrooms playgrounds first aid locker rooms and a coaches room.
