Lorain County, Elyria announce office complex site plan
Lorain County and the City of Elyria reach an agreement to build a 100000 square foot county administration building on Middle Avenue across from the courthouse at a cost of about 2.5 million dollars. The city will provide 400 parking spaces free and will extend Rt 37 into downtown. The project is the first phase of a three part plan to revitalize downtown Elyria and maintain the county seat.
