Avon Lake High School pupils presented a chapel program on March 2 with 4A trio Shirley Kramer Chifuita Smedley and Louise Shearer performing songs including When My Dream Boat Comes Home Pennies from Heaven and There's a Chapel in the Moonlight accompanied by Norma Nissen. Chiquita Smedley delivered a dialogue Willie at the Movies. The Dramatic Club then staged a one act play The Inner Urge featuring a cast of girls led by Sam Briggs as the disgusted husband with Elvira Bradre xual Harriet Dudley Gwen dolyn Adams Betty Moon and Chiquita Smedley as Pierre a Frenchman. The program was directed by Miss Pearl Wilford. In NEW LEXINGTON Ohio on March 4 within an hour brothers Arthur and Harry Smith lost a finger each while working on a mine car and coupling and removing a block under a car.
