Jury pool shrinks as Nichols trial moves forward in McAlester
More than 20 jurors were disqualified Tuesday in the Nichols state murder trial in McAlester Oklahoma City bombing conspirator Terry Nichols faced a potential death penalty if convicted on 161 counts. Judge Steven Taylor oversaw screenings with about half of 60 jurors excused while others were recalled for further questioning. Nichols, 48, aided Timothy McVeigh in the 1995 blast that killed eight federal officers and a mother and unborn child.

Fox seeks greater cooperation in anti-terror push
