Bar shooting sparks $1 million negligence suit
Jeffrey D. Osko of Lorain filed a $1,000,000 Common Pleas Court suit against tavern owner John Chapman of Friar Tuck's Vermilion and patron Ellis H. Kennedy of Cleveland. Osko, shot in the right thigh March 5 1978 at Chapman's bar, accuses Chapman of negligence for not subduing the intoxicated Kennedy.
