New firm to haul voting machines in Lorain County
A newly formed Elyria firm Northern Ohio Moving and Storage wins the bid to move voting machines for the 1984 primary and general elections, offering 20.50 per machine one way, beating rivals at 22 and 27. The board recalls past issues with inexperienced bidders and plans machine delivery across the county with returns to the Lorain warehouse.
