Ex-Ohio woman blames boyfriend for baby's death
Susan R. Young testified in a Santa Cruz murder trial that ex-lover Roland Dion harmed her 15 month old, Rainbow Dawn Young, after allegedly tossing her and throwing her onto leaves before the child died October 28 at Dominican Hospital. Prosecution witnesses earlier described a healthy infant.

County to gain 1000 a day tax interest this month
Lorain County will receive 1044.44 daily interest through March as four banks hold 6 million dollars in CDs tied up until March 30. County Treasurer J. Grant Keys says the one month term will not delay tax settlements or advances to districts. Banks include Elvira Savings and Trust National Bank The City Bank Co Lorain National Bank and Central Security National Bank with two million dollars at 6.25 percent and two million dollars at 6.25 percent.
