Desert Datsun Tow Bill Sparked Warranty Dispute
A California car buyer alleges Desert Datsun of Cathedral City refused to reimburse a $230 tow after an electrical fault appeared three months post purchase. The customer says multiple calls yielded no action, while another Datsun dealer later paid the November tow bill. Datsun cites warranty terms requiring towing to the nearest dealer and proper authorization, noting high towing charges and state variations in fees.
