Elyria Police Budget Underspend Spurs Carryover Ending Likely
Elyria police have underspent their budget since 2005 by over 2.5 million dollars. Shot man could have lunk to holdup

Happy end to his tale as dog finds new home
The battered dog Charlie rescued after being dumped in a trash can earlier this month has gone home with a new family in Elyria. Janice Smith bought a house with a fenced yard in May and will bring Charlie to meet her daughter Raleigh and the rest of the family. The 10 month old husky collie mix excitedly greeted his new owners Haley Whitesell, Amber Whitesell, Lindsey Smith and Raleigh Smith in the lobby.
