New London Considers 1.5 Million Reservoir Plan
Engineers warn New London faces future water supply limits as a 1.4 million gallon reservoir is proposed at a total cost of 1.5 million with a parallel state park plan adding 1.3 million. The project would require a 200 000 dollar local contribution for assured storage and would involve transmission and pumping facilities to the treatment plant if New London joins the total management arrangement.
