Dr. Robert E. Wilson assistant superintendent of Elyria Public Schools will be released from his contract to join the Canton school system as assistant superintendent. The three year contract starts with salaries of 8500, 9000 and 39500. He and his wife reside at 296 Harvard Avenue.

Zoning Board Rejects East Avenue Rezoning Plan

The Board of Zoning Appeals advised against changing East avenue from the former Methodist parsonage to Haurr's gas station to commercial use citing future highway needs. They also rejected Steve Nagy's West River Street rezoning request and tabled Theodore Washke's vestibule proposal while considering Bruscino Expansion Homes Inc on Prospect Street.

Reunion Scheduled for Ex-Pupils of Ohio Home

Members of the Ohio soldiers and Sailors Orphans Home Ex-pupils Association will hold their visit annual reunion here July 6. Mrs. Thelma K Smith, president, said ex-pupils will be housed in new cottages on the campus.

Shipbuilding Co Guard Killed In River Fall
