The plan restores a 2 percent property tax cut and maintains an 8 percent pay raise for over 80,000 state workers along with a cost of living boost for 96,000 retirees. The House and Senate swiftly approved the school bill before adjourning for a summer recess. Rhodes and leaders plan a 17 day trade mission to China starting Saturday.
