Supporters meet tonight for Lorain County Ag Center Hall of Fame work
Tonight at 8 30 supporters meet at the Ag Cester for Lorain County farmers to back the Agriculture Hall of Fame and National Center. A follow up on last Monday’s committee election names Cyril Reinders as president Elton Nichols as vice president Mrs Clarence Parsons as secretary and Art Blackwell as treasurer. The group touts a $6 million project to be built 12 miles west of Kansas City Missouri on U S 40 a 27 acre site funded by voluntary subscriptions. The center will house an agricultural museum a Hall of Fame and multiple exhibition and research facilities backed by national agricultural leaders and former presidents.

ASCS Calls for Voters and Nominees in County Election
Gordon Greene chairman of the ASCS Lorain County Committee announced voters eligible to participate may also nominate as candidates by filing petitions signed by six or more voters at the County Offices before July 10. Additional nominations by incumbent committees are allowed. The countywide ASC community election, conducted by mail from July 24 to August 5, will select three community committee members and two alternates, with the chairman and delegates also designated.

French grows 29th seed corn crop
Wakeman farmer Tom French, a longtime hybrid seed corn developer and marketer, reports his 20th crop this season on 75 acres plus 25 on a neighbor’s farm. Annual Black and White Cattle Show in Lorain County
The Black and White Cattle Show will be held July 29 at Lora County Fargronds starting 10 am with junior judging for H and FFA participants.
