Discovery may revise Judaic history at Dropsie College
The Dropsie College president David Goldenberg found a rare one-inch manuscript in the vault that scholars deem the most complete record of rabbinic sermons in Palestine from 500 to 600 A.D. The Pesiqta Rabbati reveals cultural, political, and economic life and Roman campaigns. Only two handwritten copies existed, both adulterated, until now.
