Two sisters from Liverpool England visit Ridgeville New York with their mother staying at Mrs. Martin Thibo’s home. Homemakers Club Examines Sewing Projects Meeting
Homemakers Future Home makers met at the advisor home with 23 members present. Loretta Komzak led the pledge, and June Merrill Roslyn Meyers filed routine reports. Mrs Pachinger reviewed sewing projects and urged completion for the July 5 meeting. A liquid embroidery demonstration was approved as an extra project. Refreshments will be provided at the next gathering by Connie Page and Laura Foy. June Merrill and Karen Trittlett acted as hostesses for the last event.

Youth Sentenced To 50 Years In Chicago Slaying Case
CHICAGO (UP) A fourth youth, Joseph Schwartz, 18, was sentenced to 50 years in prison for the bludgeon murder of a Negro boy in Chicago. Trial for Schwartz's 11 fellow gang members accused in the hammer slaying of Alvin Palmer, 17, began immediately. a week earlier three youths drew 99 to 110 year terms for a motel operator murder during a holdup spree.

Negro Named On Graham's Crusade Team
Evangelist Billy Graham announced that for the first time a Negro, Rev. Howard Jones of Cleveland, joined his crusade team as an associate evangelist. The 28 year old minister will serve temporarily on the 33 member group and could remain with future crusades, after conducting revivals in Nigeria, Liberia and other African regions. Jones was on leave from Smoot Memorial Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Cleveland.
