Troop Five Creates Its Own Camp in Columbia Station
Twenty six girls of Troop Five camped a full week at a self supplied site on the Fruschau place near East River Road. Led by Mrs Wagner and troop chairman Fruchauf, they built fire places pitched eleven tents and a shelter for meals. Activities included hikes merit badge work and crafts with experts visiting. A mascot named Jerry the eight year old son of Mrs Wagner joined the group. The troop plans to join a council next fall but will keep the camp for summer fun.
