Two men about 22, one with a .22 rifle, held up Quitman M. Smith at the C. H. Hendricks greenhouse on Osborne Road and the Big Four Railroad at 3 30 am yesterday. County commissioners announced they have rented a section of the former bus station on Second St owned by Alfred Alten as the new office for the motor vehicle certificate of title department now in the courthouse base. Negotiations for the rental were completed today. The space will cost the county 335 a month heat and utilities furnished. Alten will retain the rear section of the building for his motor vehicle license business. The move will relieve a greatly congested condition for the certificate of title department. Included in the new location will be six parking spaces for the public. The department is to move July 15.

Ohio will join a nation wide move toward standardized auto license plate sizes. Governor Felty announced that 1956 plates will be six by twelve inches with luminous numerals for safety and easier police identification, a change costing little beyond current plates.
