Farm Tour Field Day Scheduled by Huron District
NORWALK The Huron County Conservation District announced a July 31 field day in farm tour format. Morris Cawrse said stops will show conservation practices and lime and fertilizer test results. Most farms belong to Monroeville Veterans Class members. A county plowing contest may be added. entry blanks are at the extension office with a July 15 closing date.

County winners advance to area competition in Fremont in September and then to the state finals with a chance at an all expense paid trip to New York City Exposition. Westlake Sportsmens Club will host its Vth annual carnival at Cahoon Rd grounds near Nickel Plate tracks. Amateur talent entries for singers dancers and instrumentalists are invited by July 3. A July 4 picnic will feature a fireworks display in the evening.
