Severe rain and electrical storm from the north drenched Ohio as rivers and streams remained high from last week’s record rainfall. Bellevue and areas south of Attica flooded, streets two feet deep, interurban service suspended, basements flooded, and some industries closed. Two contracts for boiler house improvements at Elyria Memorial Hospital totaling 3547 dollars were awarded by the board of trustees. Henry Codt of Louisville won the 200 horsepower boiler bid at 6991 dollars with 580 day delivery. Flynn and Emerich of Baltimore won the stoker and equipment bid at 2555 dollars. Record Hospital Patients Hits New Peak At Elyria Memorial
