Canadian quake felt hundreds of miles away in Ohio
A magnitude 5.0 quake centered about 35 miles north of Ottawa, Canada, was felt across Lorain County with no local damage reported. USGS classed it as moderate. travel to Cleveland was under four minutes. Witnesses at Lorain County Justice Center described the tremor as the chair moving and the building swaying.
