Danville Keeps Chuckles Plant as New Owners Take Helm
Nabisco sold the Chuckles jelly candy plant in Danville to six former Nabisco staff led by John Gora for about 10 million dollars plus a 1 million state loan. The new Chuckles Co will push promotions and new products like gummy bears while aiming to double the workforce to about 230, keeping Danville as the home of Chuckles.
