Warren Hogel, a one legged veteran, is on a tramp around the world walking with two crutches. He left San Francisco for China four and a half years ago and plans to return before Christmas. He has autographs from kings and other monarchs and has lived on eighty dollars a month from the government while traveling. He stopped at the fair grounds and spoke with Red Cross officials about his government support. In Washington current note says three Americans round the world travelers will leave Rangoon for Akyab and Calcutta tomorrow per Navy Department guidance.
