Elyria man pleads innocent in Riverside Court murder

Faustino Gonzalez, 23, of Riverside Court Apt 32, pleaded not guilty to aggravated murder in the shooting death of 28 year old Mark Cobb in a Riverside Court parking lot. Bond set at $25,000 cash. attorney complained of a 90 minute delay to see his client while Gonzalez was questioned. Police say Gonzalez was arrested minutes after the shooting based on witness information. details remain limited as the investigation continues.

Spinks Fined Again for Driving Without License

Heavyweight champion Leon Spinks was fined 52 dollars including court costs after a Jacksonville police stop at 2:50 a.m. for driving with expired plates and no license. The incident marks his third license-related fine this year. past offenses occurred in St. Louis with drug charges dismissed later, and a separate March citation for wrong way driving. Spinks defeated Muhammad Ali for the title on Feb. 15 and has a return match set for Sept. 15 in New Orleans.
