Ohio college costs rise about 10 percent this year
The Ohio College Association reports higher 1970-71 costs across state and private colleges. Average tuition and fees for state universities run about 1676 dollars, private colleges about 2672, with out-of-state students paying roughly 786 more than residents. Community colleges average 414 for tuition and fees, with 330 to 450 range for annual costs.

Sukarno Dies At Indonesian Army Hospital
Indonesian President Sukarno died at about 7 a.m. at the army hospital where he was treated for chronic high blood pressure and kidney stones. He had fallen into a coma earlier and did not regain consciousness. Ratna Sari Dewi, his wife, rushed to his bedside with her four year old child Kartika Sari.
