Golf fitness centers reshape the sport with elite training
In Gatthersburg Maryland Dr Greg Rose opened Club Golf Fitness Center and already works with 43 touring pros. In Dallas Bob MacDonald runs Golf Performance and Fitness Center with clients like Rich Beem and Harrison Frazar. In Palm Desert Rob Mottram influences Masters champ Mike Weir and others, tracing golf fitness back to early tours. The trend shows players improving ball speed and performance through dedicated conditioning and testing. Rose notes a program promising 10 extra yards and emphasizes rapid ball speed assessment. Membership at all centers begins with a thorough physical exam, testing mobility, strength, balance and endurance.
